Hello again friends,
Has anyone seen or have a delica 4 with British green racing color scales that does not have ZDP-189 steel?
What do you think of one with vg10 steel ?
I know it would be a swap of blades, but would make for a good carry.
Thanks John;

A few of us are known to swap blades. It's not too hard. VG10 is great stuff, so why not?

OP,
If it's the recent one posted on BF exchange, like the seller mentioned, it's a swap, and no mention of the steel means it's VG10.
I do like both VG10 and ZDP189 for different reasons :D

Yes, it was the recent one on BF. I bought it because I liked the BRG handle and I don't have any preference for the blade steel. I plan using it for EDC. It was a bit cheaper than if it had the ZDP steel, so I am satisfied. I just wanted some other opinions on that Delica. Thanks

Hello, another question about the delica, which is fast becoming one of my favorite spyderco knives,.Does the spyderco delica only come in vg10 and zdp-189 steel ? I like the vg10 , have no experience with zdp-189. I now will have the British racing green in vg10, and a brown one in vg10. But there is always tomorrow!!!
Thanks
John
Thanks

VG10 & ZDP-189 are the current standard offerings for the D4. There have also been sprint runs that used Super Blue & HAP40 steel.bladerunner22 wrote:Does the spyderco delica only come in vg10 and zdp-189 steel ?
VG10 is fine for most needs. It's very stainless, holds a decent edge, and is fairly easy to sharpen.
