Ha luckily for me my wallet is safe where the battlestation is concerned. Least. Attractive. Knife. Ever. And not in an endearing way. But there's no accounting for taste, of course.

I order it last Monday, and still waiting. Image Image Image

I also picked up a FARID K2 on sale, and received it in four days.

The ergonomics of the BattleStation are some of the best I've ever held on any knife...it's actually that good. I have custom shred carbon fiber scales on mine that are a little thicker, and also a little more contoured and I think they make it even better. Hammer grip, chisel grip, reverse grip, doesn't matter...it just melts into your hand no matter how you hold it, even though it looks like it shouldn't. Very interesting and unique design to be sure.

I am sorry. This is one of those designs I looked at and asked, "Why?"

Handle looks fine to me. I don't like the blade shape. Even a steep discount won't get me to open my wallet.

Even with steep discount it is $120. For $120 I still can buy few knives, which I like. It is almost enough money to buy two Centofante3.

If it were made in Taiwan I might be curious though the tip looks not to my liking. I haven't been in love with the VG-10 heat treat. The super leaf has tempted me.

This knife resembles the Tighe Stick.
And I'll bet the Ergo's are great...

How is the C3? It looks interesting. The BS doesn't do it for me.

I was quite surprised when I handled one about a year ago. The ergos were unexpectedly comfortable, almost melt-in-the-hand, the lock was rock solid, and I felt that the quality was way up there too. It struck me as a stout little bulldog of a knife. I am into slicers, so the Battlestation was never on my radar, but I was actually tempted to buy it that day. If it was not priced at way over msrp at the time I might have...

Finally got mine at Christmas from my wife! Soooo ridiculously comfortable in hand and I love the blade shape on this one.....I never really thought twice about the knife until I saw the big discount and took a chance with it. Probably one of my favorite Spydies now....
