Thanks for the heads up, I've been wanting one for a long time. It's been another expensive Spyderco week, though.

And while I'm at it...
Large Chinese folder in stock at KW for 131

Is there already a thread for "Discontinued items randomly in stock"?

Not that I can recall, but I like the sound of that. :D

Idk if Jeff buys collections, or holds things back, or what, but, I scored one of these Manix, and a few years back (2 years ago?), I scored a nib Pacific blue Kopa, and a year before that, a nib cf/s90v Manix from him, in the same type of circumstances...

I scored one on the big auction site about a month back but I am tempted to buy another. Apart from the detent it is darn near perfect.

I have a Superleaf on the way from CS... What don't you like about your Superleaf's detent? Too weak?

While I've carried it somewhat regularly and haven't had an issue, the detent does feel a bit weak and I could see it opening in a pocket if not clipped against the very edge (with the seam holding the blade in place). I love the ergonomics and look and blade shape, so I consider it one of my favorites.

I received my SLeaf from Cutlery Shoppe today and I must say, it's quite excellent. I'm just a little worried about how the lock doesn't travel over to the right as much as i'd like. Could that correct itself in time?

About how far does the liner engage the tang on your Superleaf? I am just curious as I have a few knives that only engage at 25%, but still lock up tightly.

PM2 on left has the level of engagement I prefer. Both have solid lockup. My Salsa had what I would consider late lockup and it was more like 75%...Don't have a pic though.
