I'm always carrying my serrated Endura. Lightweight, nice size blade & can cut through just about anything I need.
Welcome Squidhead... Now let's see a picture of that Endura... :)

Anyone running a patina yet? I like the way this turned out.

Okay, I have to know how you achieved that patina. I am not a patina guy, but I would do THAT.

After cleaning the old patina off with flitz, I'm having a lot of fun working on a new one. I'm reminded of Christopher Walken in True Romance. He's torturing a guy for information but his comment makes me think about the colors on the blade and how they're just gonna get duller.

"But what I have to offer you, that's as good as it's gonna get and it won't ever get that good again."

Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

That is a "special" picture, even among cellphone pics! :p ;) Love the pastel coloured duvet-cover background... ;)
Also, I think the stray drafting pencil tip adds an element of mystery to the composition :p :D

I tried it, but I don't think I have perfected the technique. I also can't get it to photograph well with my phone camera. It looks pretty good in person.

Looks great! I'd say you nailed it. Mine really changes color drastically depending on the light available.

Now you just need to sharpen it!

Cut up a bunch of raw chicken and steak to put in the freezer. An initial patina started to develop on the M4 para :D
