So wich are youre top 3 spyders of the collection?
Re: So wich are youre top 3 spyders of the collection?
Tough question and the answer might change from time to time. I can choose 3 or 4 from what I have but I won't rank them-
PM2 S110V blurple
PM2 M4 Jade
Manix 2 XL S90V CF
Manix 2 M4
Manix 2 Cruwear
Military Cruwear
Manix 2 XL S30V DLC
Oops that's 7- just take the first 3.

If you're talking about the 'crown jewels' of my collection, it would probably be something like this:
1) 9/11 WTC Rescue
2) Balance with custom made Ed Schempp Damascus handle scale
3) 25th anniversary Delica
If we're talking the most carried and appreciated from a working point of view:
1) Stretch 2, carbon fiber/zdp189
2) Delica 4, FRN & FFG
3) Chinese Folder, any variation

Re: So wich are youre top 3 spyders of the collection?
"Moving target" would be an understatement here, but today I'll go with:
1. Para 2
2. Urban lw
These two make a really nice edc combo, imo.
3. B70P Mule
I sometimes feel like the lone champion for this guy, but it's been fantastic. It came nice and thin behind the edge and sharpens up like a dream for me. I would absolutely buy more blades in this steel.

Re: So wich are youre top 3 spyders of the collection?
Definitely an ongoing endlessly variable list.
But for the quintessentially Spyderco Spyderco (if that makes sense)- I'd be picking out the all stainless Serrated Police.
The near-seamless build quality, the overall design, the all stainless build and the mid-back lock are- for me- timeless.
The Fluted Titanium Military is another super high spot- build quality sets it apart and, again, it's another special quintessential Spyderco.
Third is definitely The all stainless Harpy- another perfect design and switched me on to how useful the serrated hawkbill is for more than just cutting fishing lines.
Honorable mentions go to the Manix 2 and PM2.

Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Re: So wich are youre top 3 spyders of the collection?
It was difficult to pick only three, but I'll have to go with these:
Stag Kiwi: I love the Kiwi, and this one is my idea of the ultimate Kiwi.
Bolstered Cocobolo Stretch: The Stretch is my favorite "large" Spyderco and this one was a fantastic and totally unexpected gift from Sal. It's unique, but I'd love it just as much if there were thousands like it out there.
WTC Knife: For everything it represents.

Re: So wich are youre top 3 spyders of the collection?
Three folders
Pacific Salt: Lightweight cutting beast, slim and flat, excellent ergos and incredible shearing power, easy to sharpen, sturdier than it seems, strong tip, classic shape and design brought to its full capabilites and dependability
Spyderhawk: No-frills working blade, a real pocket chainsaw at a low weight and maintenance needed is almost null. Cuts and cuts and asks for more, and then...dishwasher!
Tasman: Smaller but much easier to carry Spyderhawk. Quintaessential, wear-everywhere ripper and cutter, from the pool and beach to the garden and kitchen. You won't notice it's there but it'll be when you need it, and it'll deliver.
Three fixed
Aqua Salt: Uncomparable all-around blade, from the camp to the kitchen, the kayak to the backpack...at a low weight, hard to believe slicing ability for the size and length, sheath is extremelly low profile and excellent retention, with multiple carry position
Rock Salt: Packable chopper, mean kitchen knife with amazing handle and incredible ergonomic grip, from light woods tool to do it all garden blade, here you have the king of versatility when a serious fixed blade is needed
ARK: Loyal to its name, take it with you as a natural extension of your body, for that casual straw in the plastic at the beach or that stubborn clamshell package that just got in the mail, if you don't take it off it will be your "never blade less" companion, and only you will know
