Got mine today as well! So excited to see one of my pictures in a calendar. And also a cool poster of the 40th anniversary native. Thank you to everyone at spyderco and especially to kristi for getting everything sorted out for us.

One thing I found interesting on the poster is that it says "100% American Made". I thought Damasteel production was all based in Sweden? Do they actually manufacture some of their steel in the US?

Mine arrived yesterday. Thanks Spyderco!

It was creative (and new this year?) how they dealt with pictures that didn't meet the aspect ratio.

Mine arrived just today, in Alabama, USA, so, just guessing, it may still be a week or two more before they arrive in Kazakhstan, but they are worth the wait ;) By the way, thanks SpyderCrew!

Oops! (spelling Kazakhstan -- sorry)

:o Hi jabba,
That was an unfortunate mistake on our part. Damasteel is in fact produced in Sweden. We apologize for the mistake.

Kristi

Or, perhaps we can just say that it's approximately 82% American Made. :p :D

No apology needed. I was just curious if Damasteel had moved some production to the US. Personally, I like being able to say "My knife is made with Swedish steel!" It sounds more exotic that way. :p
