I think he's referring to utilizing aftermarket Ti scales offered by craftsmen such as Casey Lynch,et. al. , maybe?

Yep, there are a number of craftsmen now producing very nice titanium scales for the PM2 - then go ahead and insert an XHP blade if that's your preference, and there you go! :)

Check out the more recent pages of BF "Spyderco photos" thread and look for posts by user Rusty Shackleford. I remember he had just posted a PM2 (and Millie) with clean Ti scales (no pattern) and a black blade. He mentioned who made the scales but I cannot remember off the top of my head.

I'd like to see the lw Manix in different steels, we have the Chaparral that highlights different handle options, the Sage series that highlights different locks, so why not use the lw Manix to highlight different steels? It's a capable knife as well as being affordable to most people.

Shabaria with ancient ivory micarta scales.
While I am waiting for t5his knife, I will take simple Native5 with 204P and Anso style dark green/black G10 scales along with CPM M4 Native5 with G10 Orange scales.
"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf"

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

An Endura with carbon fiber scales. A nice steel like clad CPM-M4 or M390 would be incredible, but I'd settle for the carbon fiber scales by themselves.

Nice, maybe even with random "scratted" marks or a scratted pattern...kinda like here:

C22 Walker with antique ivory micarta scales and damasteel blade. HAP40 or another non stainless Japanese steel would also be a great option.

Delica 4 handle in the range of existing colors. Wharncliffe blade, as thin as the Dragonfly's blade. Reduced hump. Choil.

Sage2 in M4. Oh yeah!!!! They already have some M4 over there for the Bradley. This can't be too hard to make happen. ;)

Nice and simple idea! :)
Yeah, it sucks the Sage series never sees alternative blade steel Sprints.
And even though I'm not a big fan of all Ti handles, I could see a Sage 2 in M4 being crazy successful! :spyder:
I'd like a Domino and Dice in M4, too.

For no good reason I don't have much from Taichung. I just got a CF XHP Chaparral a few days ago and love it. I would like to see a sprint but can't think of any changes I would like to see in it  If I'd known how tiny these are in hand I would have got one a long time ago. It's hard to imagine from the measurements.... so I guess I'd like to see some sprints from Taichung.

I know it wouldn't seem very exciting to most, but I'd like a CTS-XHP Sage 3 with plain CF like that on the Chaparral.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.
