And you can't bring your spydies bc your coworkers would freak if they saw you flicking your PM2 open every 5 seconds

Well as I see it, there is only one thing to do.
Find a one handed job that gives you more flick-time, and/or better co-workers.
After all you have your priorities............

After sharpening all the kitchen knives nobody seems to mind it :p

A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.

If you can bring it, bring it. :)

I checked with the head of security about bringing knives to work and he said if it's lawful according to the Texas penal code then it's fine. This is one of the largest corporations in the world. I bring Spyderco Militaries, my Szabo folder, Zero Tolerance 0560 flippers, Pro-Tech/Spyderco/Benchmade automatic knives, etc.

Sometimes people act surprised and ask, "Whoa, is that a real knife?" I matter-of-factly reply, "Yes, that's a very real knife." Sometimes I show them how they can shave with it.

Fortunately my workplace doesn't seem to have an issue with knives. In fact, I've converted 7 of my coworkers into knife carrying folk. 6 out of 7 carry Spyderco!
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390
Grail Paramilitary 2 M390 X 2! ACHIEVED!!

Duh! That's what the Ladybug Hawkbill is for. I can open and close it while maintaining eye contact on sales calls undiscovered! It's like a functional worry stone! Get one, they are badass and SO useful.

You obviously now have a mission.
Start converting a few of those co-workers to the addiction, like Liquid Cobra is doing. Certainly you have some "cute" Spydies you can use for bait. Once you convert a few, more will follow out of curiosity.
By this time next year you could have all the gals in your section flickin' Millies!
Feel the love........ :p :D

Where I work people would be surprised if I wasn't carrying a knife. Or several of them.

I work in an office setting and it has always been policy not to carry *weapons* at work. However, the key thing is how one defines what a "weapon* is. ;) To that end, I've carried a vast number of my Spydies at work--even the larger models. I've never had an issue in ten years with carrying knIves on the job mainly because I exercise a great deal of descretion. :)

Kudos to all who have converted fellow co-workers into the Spyderco Addiction. :D I've successfully converted two (my boss and a therapist) but I'm also working on a few others. Takes time to reel them in... ;)

I'm retired. When a few of us old salts get together over coffee, my Delica goes on the table. Whoever is holding it has the floor.

Ugh I know that feeling!! My old job I could have my knives and use them to open boxes and atuff. Now with this new job you can't have any knives and then they give us these horrible safety knives to cut packaging straps with. Have to sit there sawing at them. Makes me want my spydies even more!

And here I thought you were going to say that whoever is holding the Delica has to buy the coffee! :D

Join the Army, I flick my Millie all day.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.
