Spyderco Endura Foliage Green: Status?

#1

Post by SpyderEdgeForever »

Did Spyderco discontinue the part serrated or only the fully serrated Foliage Green Saber Grind VG10 Endura?

I ask because I saw two conflicting (at least to me) messages:

https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/detail ... roduct=458" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Spyderco Endura 4 Foliage Green FRN Serrated ~ C10FG
Discontinued - SpyderEdge

It says discontinued but it is a pic of the combo edge/part serrated.

But this lists it as still available:

Knifecenter has the combo version, but not the full serrated, if that counts for anything.

Dear SpyderEdgeForever:

Sorry for the confusion. The page associated with the link you provided was for the fully serrated Endura Lightweight with the foliage green handle. Its full SKU was C10SFG. The foliage green Endura Lightweight with CombinationEdge blade is still alive and well and readily available. Its SKU is C10PSFG and can be seen here https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/detail ... roduct=233" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

The confusing part is that a) Our web pages only show the model numbers of our knives, not the full SKUs (Model numbers do not include the P, PS, or S edge configuration codes), and b) The web page pertaining to the discontinued, fully serrated version shows a photo of the CombinationEdge.

I'll bring this to the attention of the folks who manage our pages and see if there's any way to correct it.

I hope this helps.

Stay safe,

Mike

Thank you so much, Michael, for the correction, I appreciate it. And thank you for all the great work you do and the articles you write and all of that.

The Endura Foliage Green with Saber Grind is one of my favorite knives.
