razrman8- C46P Titanium Bob Lum Tanto

Bob Lum was an amazing knife designer, and the Lum Tanto displays this. The Lum Tanto is the knife that made me fall in love with Spyderco, which was after I joined the military as an Air Traffic Controller. Pictured are two things that I encounter and enjoy on a daily basis, my passion for Spyderco, and controlling fighter jets.

Model: Spyderco Southard Folder Brown ~ C156GBN

The Spyderco Southard; one of my favorite models from the moment I held it...
Standing on the pinnacle of modern day folding knives with it's materials, functionality and top notch quality,
it truly shows what Spyderco can achieve nowadays.
This is the kind of knife I would be proud of to pass down and I'm sure it'll endure the test of time until then!

Model: Spyderco Para Military 2 ~ C81G2

This is a silhouette shot of me holding my favorite knife, the Para Military 2, in front of some christmas lights.
It' s a very simple shot that focuses on the shape of the knife. The lights in the background are blurred to form circles that harmonize with the hole in the blade.
Still not quite sure on the crop. In case it' s too tight, the original is quite a bit wider.

Here is my Spyderco Cricket. It was a gift from my then girlfriend, now wife, and has served me well for years. I love its size and style. It is a knife that even non-knife people can appreciate. I enjoy photographing my knives on various backgrounds, highlighting the art that exists in their utility.

My Techno models within a roll of blue prints, which pays homage to the Spyderco hole. Although fairly new to the world of Spyderco (maybe 3 years since being acquainted with the designs) I find that I can no longer go back to any other design that does not have the Hole opener. Being a designer I love the subtractive nature of the Spyderco Hole from a functional and aesthetic standpoint.
This is a stellar shot, excellent work!

The PITS Folder, with its 2.9" blade, and non-locking mechanism, is legal to carry almost anywhere. Its sharp edge, lightweight titanium handle, and solid, sturdy mechanism allow it to easily perform almost any EDC task. Touchups on the Sharpmaker help keep the blade razor sharp. For all these reasons, this knife is infinitely useful to me.

The Sage 1 is the knife that really started the Spyderco addiction for me after being content with my Snap-Its and Pro-Venators for many years. The ergos of the Sage 1 are near perfect and the fit and finish is amazing. In this picture, I love how the elegance of the knife is contrasted by the industrial look of the rusty cable.

Spyderco knives are immediately distinguishable from all others because of their trademark round hole. This allows them to be portrayed in some fanciful ways, such as, in the case of this Endura, as a bird peeking out of its house.

The C16 Goddard with micarta scales is in my opinion one of the best looking knives made by Spyderco. I love the materials, the quality and the design so choosing a knife for the photo contest was an easy task this time.
Thank you for the contest.

So, how many people are going to submit photos on the last day? I feel like there is always a late push, whether it be procrastination or not showing their hand, either way I am excited to see more awesome photos!

Yes, there always seems to be a big rush at the end, judging by my experience in the last two years. I' m looking forward to it though, there are a few very promising entries in here already:)

It's pure procrastination and lack of inspiration on my part. I haven't had any ideas worth stealing so far, but I'm still planning on a last minute push ;)
