Confused Delica 4 Owner

My newD4 is same as above replacment knife and from reputable supremesolution on ebay....my shiny hardware was also a problem for rounded screw recesses coupled with soft enough to burr and strip out easily despite pro Wiha and Bondhus drivers....replaced all with now-discontinued D4 repair kit gotten basically free in a trade and not near so polished and everything went together perfectly...simply a bad lot of hardware, all other rebuild internals identical in every respect....it happens....bum supply of screws to G Sakai and factory workers must have had a ball....

I find it somewhat strange that they would use a different font on each side, notably the "C".

But that's been the case with G Sakai knives for years, Brian. I just looked at a 2003 BladeFourms Spyderhawk Forum Knife, and there are three different fonts used on it. One for SPYDERCO VG-10, a second for SEKI-CITY, and a third, smaller one, for JAPAN.

Okay, that is pretty interesting. I will check out some of my stuff.

Same here, my orange Dragonfly and Delica don't have the same marking compare to other :spyder:

Not really recently
My orange Delica should have about 2 years. Buy new in France.
The orange Dragonfly about a year. Buy new in the US. (National Knives)
