Wouldn't think a Chappy would need a regrind. Aren't they pretty thin to start?Holland wrote:My reground chaparral :DHarleyXJGuy wrote:A Chapperal?Holland wrote:Slicing machine
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.
Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

they are very thin and capable slicers out of the box. Mine was sharpened and reprofiled a few too many times over the last couple years and was getting pretty thick, so I opted for a regrind. It blows my mind now every time I use it to breakdown cardboard haha :DHarleyXJGuy wrote:Wouldn't think a Chappy would need a regrind. Most of the time for about three weeks I've been carrying my "tan" (really faded to almost gray) Manix 2 M4, which had been around the block a few times before I got it. Today along with my new (to me) FG G-10 Urban.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod

If you're wielding the sharpest tool in the shed, who's going to say that you aren't...?

That looks AWESOME! I've been wondering about what that would look like. Any more pictures of it? I'm not sure if I'll do likewise to mine, but that picture makes it awfully tempting.harronek wrote:Just finished Stonewashing the Titanium scales , so this is in the pocket for the rest of the day .
