Next I finally got a fluted titanium Military, after quite a long time trying to find one for a decent price. It's very nice.

Being on a bit of a fluted ti kick, I also got this fluted ti Native 5. This one looks great, except for some strange marks on the blade tang, where it looks like the blade was impacted repeatedly. But those imperfections have allowed me to carry and use this great knife without worry. The contoured scales are really great in use.

Next I got this Nilakka after handling one at a local gun show. I was impressed with the uniqueness of the shape, and of course, the Taichung build quality. So it moved up to the top of the list. This blade slices open mail like it's not even there.

Next was the KnifeCenter exclusive brown, CTS-XHP Native. This is a very nice color and steel combination.

Have a happy 4th of July! :D

One more 7 and this would be knife #1776!

Dang that Ti Millie is sweet.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

Next was another addition to the Ed Schempp collection. The Equilibrium. This is another interesting Schempp design, similar in concept to the Balance. But I prefer the blade angle, and ergos of the Balance in use, especially the CF Balance with its wider handle.

Next I got this Perrin Street Bowie to go along with the Street Beat. Though similar, I find the Street Beat more comfortable in hand, and more impressive in appearance.

Do you think you'll get a street beat lightweight, given that it's basically a street beat but with the bowie construction (sans the rubber inserts)?

Probably not. The Street Beat is so nice with its micarta handles. Since I don't carry fixed blades, I have no need for a lighter version.

Next was the Lil Matriarch. The Delica is one of my all-around favorite knives, so I knew I'd like the ergos of the Lil Matriarch. The blade is also very useful for many EDC tasks, but I still prefer a plain edge for most of my daily uses. So a PE Lil Matriarch is currently on my list.

I have been following this thread the whole time and it is usually the first one I check on my visit to this forum. Thanks again and an incredible collection. Those fluted titanium models sure are pretty, wish I could justify the cost.

Thanks for all the comments.
Yes, I can see how the PE Lil Matriarch would be a very handy knife.

Next I got this Cat. I really like the size and shape of the Cat, and have carried and used it quite a bit with very good results. The 440C has held up well through a substantial amount of cardboard cutting.

I wasn't aware of this knife, I'm not huge on the brown but I've been wanting to try a Native and with XHP it can't be passed up!

Upgrading to a Ti ATR once I sell my stainless ATR :)

I know my last knife was a Cat, but while browsing Amazon, I came across the Cat for $11.60 shipped. I went ahead and placed an order to see what would happen. A few days later, I got this genuine, NIB Spyderco Cat!

The pocket clip has a slightly different bend, and the clip screw needed to be tightened out of the box, but other than that, it's just as nice, solid, and well made as my $40 Cat.
