Big Chris Regrind?

#1

Post by HarleyXJGuy »

Anyone had a Spydie reground by Big Chris?

Got some pictures and a story of how it came out?

Want to get my Manix 2 LW took down to about .005 behind.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

He did my Southard all the way to the spine. From Chris: "Reground to just under .010" behind the edge and thinned the spine from .155" to .115" while maintaining the distal taper." I am very happy with it. He did Ankerson's S110V down to .005 and it performed very well.

Thanks a lot for the info and pictures.

Just to be ear I am pretty sure he did not do Jim's Manix but he was going to have Chris do a S30V Millie for him.

I had a Southard reground by Big Chris and he did a great job on it and it cut like a light saber after the regrind.
