Eric Glesser's Mystery Knife?

#1

Post by Johnnie1801 »

I was just reading through the Spyderco forum over at BF and this pic in the Janisong thread posted by Quiff caught my eye. Which knife could it be? :)

Doesn't look like a Spyderco clip.

^^^ my thoughts too. Also, kinda small, maybe a child's knife or new Clipitool or other multi-tool.

On the zoomed out pic I thought Lil Lionspy, but on the zoomed in... it must be one of the collabs. One that isn't on my radar.

It could be a concept model that we haven't even heard of yet.

I thought it might be one of the knives Wouter photographed at the Amsterdam Meet but after checking I don't see anything that matches that clip. At first I thought it might be a GB2 but I'm sure I'm wrong, completely different clip. Maybe some of the guys who attended the meet can tell us more :)

Are you suggesting it's time for an "Eric's bombshell thread"?

It looks like a knife to me, you can just see the the curve of the rear of the handle, possibly in CF? These pics were taken in Taiwan last week so it's possible Eric grabbed something from the production line.

The LionSpy's clip is more low-riding.

Image

That clip doesn't look like any current Spydie clip to me.

Also worth noting, that store has some discontinued Spydies in stock. I've spotted at least a FFG Persian and a Rock Lobster.
