Considering custom scales for my Manix 2 G10

Post by dreadpirate »

Thinking about replacing the grey G10 scales of the Manix 2 cruwear sprint with other scales. Carbon fiber preferred; G10 o/w. Something darker in color.

I did the same with my Cruwear. Allen Putman G10 scales from http://www.bladescales.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Expensive, but I figure it's more expensive to have a $160+ gray knife that sits unused in the drawer because I do not like the scales.

I like these, they fit like a glove. They are not very grippy like peel ply G10, only the milled pattern gives it some grip, but I'm 100% fine with that. I filed down the aggressive liner and thumb jimping too.

Yes it is a personal order because they do not make those scales for stock but they will make them for you if you ask them. :)
The fit and finish is outstanding and they fit like spyderco did it themselfs. :)
