Coincidentally I was carrying a Caly 3 CF, and also a PPT.
That's funny since the other knife in my pocket was a PPT as well. Great minds think alike?

Looks great, I recently acquired a set myself with a regular S30v blade. I was also very surprised myself that the weight difference is really only slightly noticeable from stock. Casey is also a great guy to deal with. Hope you enjoy them, I'm surely enjoying mine!!

I'm still carrying my 3.5 and PPT today. I have to ask you as I've wondered for a while. Is your user name. Simpsons reference by chance?

Lol, no, I don't remember that being used on Simpsons? Although now I'm intrigued. :D
SpeedHoles is an old hotrodding term for drilling holes or dimple die holes in any and all surfaces possible to reduce weight, and ideally with little compromise to structural integrity. A process I've more recently been applying to motorcycles and bicycles.
Was more popular before machining became mainstream, so it was done in cast parts and sheet metal parts.
Going back to Caly.
