Anyone know if the Spydiechef will come to market? Keeping my fingers crossed.
I already have the egg plant, mushrooms, peppers, and onions. All that's missing is that knife!

I'm staying positive and thinking the delay is due to fine tuning.

Get Santoku. It is less expensive and will do much better job than any pocket knife.

I've been paying super close attention to this one since first seeing it years ago. It looks to have just about everything I want in a folder, pending steel choice.

I love the look of that knife, and it probably would not get any kitchen use but it would get plenty of pocket time. Sign me up for one!

I liked everything about it except for the blade angle to the handle. Obviously, when standing over a cutting board, it's desirable, but for a general use knife I found the blade pointing up and away from the work in a natural grip. Make the blade spine follow the final angle of the handle, and I'm in.

If it is really a folding food prep knife I need to see thin stock and a thin edge. The proto appears to be thin behind the edge due to the small looking bevel but the stock looks quite thick. If it exceeds 2mm it isn't much of a chef's knife in my opinion. I know it is a folder that should be multi purpose but I would still like to see it at 2mm max. My Centofante3 and 4 are 2mm and they have held up well to considerable use. I would love this because I am a health food nut and in this world it is very hard to stick to your preferred diet if you like healthy natural organic food. As a result I actually do use my folders to do a lot of food prep. When I am in a pinch and need to eat I will often go to the supermarket instead of grabbing fast food or eating out and just buy a bunch of produce and other healthy food. I do this on my lunch break from work all the time.
