i'm pretty new to spyderco and the knife world in general -- i don't know how urgently i should be making my purchases!

I'm two years in at this point into Spyderco. For sprints and exclusives if you fear it selling out a preorder is a must if an option.

I never preorder a knife that is standard production. I've never had a problem finding a production knife.

Sprints are a limited amount that are not production. So they won't just keep making more until it gets discontinued.

Most collaborations are production models so they keep getting made while still in production. As far as we know the nirvana is a production knife. That being said it could be hard to find one but it isn't a sprint.

It's just a thing with pre orders and me. I no longer pre order knives. As a production piece they will be widely available.

Has anyone heard any news about these? Someone have after bladeforums said a spyderco rep said probably about 2 months away, but not sure how much to believe it.
