Would you trade a Manix 2 XL for a PM2 ? Good deal ?

I'm leaving in a few hours to drive about 60 miles in order to trade a new Manix 2 G-10 for a brand new Paramilitary 2 G-10 (both satin with black handles) . What are your thoughts on this trade , please ? (Not to worry - I own another Manix 2 XL.) Thanks in advance ...

Yes I would trade, if I do not have a PM2 yet. The Manix 2 XL is perhaps slightly less expensive NIB, depending on where you buy, but for a trade I would value them about equal.

I wouldn't drive 60 miles for it, but if you have 2 of the XL's then it would be reasonable to trade one for a PM2.

More than a fair trade, although I always opt for the USPS option. I've done trades from Ohio to California, and even sent knives to people in the UK. Knife trading is a whole new level of Spyderco addiction haha. Welcome to the club!

Yeah , I heard that the XL is going for more money in some shops at the moment. I gather that the clip comes configured for tip down? Should I switch it so that the tip is up on this knife ? Thanks, Mr. D.

Eh, tough call on this one. I don't mind tip down on the Military but prefer tip up on most others. Both those prices are a bit more than my local shop.
