~Some very sexy handle materials for the Chapparal that I hope meet the light of day. "Jewel-like" was the word I used.
~Got to handle the Nirvana....Yes it's totally worth the wait.
~The fixed Pikal has just made my 'must buy list'....It's a serious piece of kit.
~The Shaman was a real heart-winner- and that's from someone (me) who isn't a massive fan of the Native
~Slyz Swayback made an impression too.
~Cueball definitely on the radar.....
~Viking was awesome in so many different ways- And I will buy one when ever it comes out.
~Little Lum was as cute as button.
~The Roc is a for sure add to the box when it does come out
~Handling of the semi-mythical C100 Samaritan.....Oh yes.
~Some redesigned, releases of some seriously iconic models coming up in the near future....I won't say more.
....Seriously guys- Wouter's photo thread is going to blow your socks off!

*Note- these are as I wrote them and your mileage/experience/name thereof/release may vary. :D

More than that- Sal and Eric a total gentlemen and we had some excellent talks not so much about knives but more about the philosophy of the way that a professional should deal with the world and other people.

As I said more than once during the day- How many other companies with Spyderco's profile do you find the senior management team willing to sit in a room with their customer and talk turkey about their product?.....I can't think of one.

Highlight of my year so far!
Millie! :D

I'm curious about the Viking?

Is the Samaritan the Vallaton-Diskin design from 2007?

4 inch dagger shaped blade with a fuller like a viking sword with Ivory colored scales and copper bolsters, how does it sound? But this one was not a production proto yet, so the Viking can still be a few years away. I must say prefered the Eurodagger ;)

The Samaritan is a Spyderco Design if I remember well. Its very similar to the PM but slimmer in profile. It was supposed to be an automatic, there were troubles over the years producing it and now it got a comp lock. But still in the concept phase so not for soon :)

But I must say I loved your Sustain combat knife! Wicked and very nice design also very light for a big knife, when it comes I will pick one up, unfortunatly also still Concept Model

Yes indeed- it's rare to use the word 'Pornographic' to describe a knife but I did with this....and that bronze Chapparal.

The Eurodagger and the Viking have 'definitely been drinking in the same pub' as we say round my way- Either would make me a very happy bunny!

Looked to be around 2.5? I'm pretty sure Wouter will be able to release details on that one. Stay tuned for my full report thread.

It was small indeed, but perfect for my needs, a small and very light EDC knife :) looking forward to your report!

So..many..questions..don't...know..where...to..start.

Gringo, when you say Millie, are you asking if it was one of the updated models or are you saying it is? Sorry, I'm site I'm reading into things too much.

IG-88, can you provide some more details on the sustain? I don't recognize the name.

Is the Viking to be part of the ethnic series?

A big slim combat knife with a double edge designed by Stuart Ackerman. It made me directly think of the modern Belgian Paracommando dagger but its lighter and with a better handle! I feel Stuart is in the best position to discribe it and tell you the philosophy behind it.
