Why are my signatures not showing?

#1

Post by Doc Dan »

For some reason, my signatures are not showing. I noticed others whose signatures do not seem to be showing, either. What is the reason?

I also see I have been demoted from "Senior Member" down to "Member". ;)

The signatures did not seamlessly roll over from the old forum. You were able to get your avatar added, the signature settings are in the same location. Also the "Senior" was changed on the admin side so now all members are "Members"

Mine is, and I have seen several other members who have their signatures working.

User Control Panel > Profile > Edit signature

After editing make sure you click on Submit.

Also, try a small signature without any formatting to see if that works.

Make sure under User Control Panel > Board preferences > Edit posting defaults > Attach my signature by default is Yes

One more test

Edit: for those who're coming here looking for info, this one successfully shows my signature. The difference? I double-check both steps listed above, but also removed all formatting from my signature.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

6 month Necropost.

I have followed all of the above steps several times and my signature does not show.

It's all a bit puzzling!

EDIT- and the second I post in this thread it magically appears to make me like a right plum. :o
As you were- carry on :D
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.
