Are posts saved so we can restore one if we have to stop earyl?

In past versions of the forum software we could type a bunch and then for some reason need to stop before submitting the post. When we come back to it we can restore the previous post and then finish it. I wanted to do that now and it doesn't look like we have that feature any more. It that true or did I miss the way to do it?

Hi Jack,
In the quick reply form - no. If you are in the full editor form though there is an option to "Save draft". It's located right next to the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form.

There are a couple of ways to get back to your draft.

1)You can either go through your User Control Panel, select "Manage Drafts" on the left side, select "Load Draft" under the draft you want to return to and it will load back into the forum where you left off.

2) Alternatively, return to the thread you wanted to post in and select "Full Editor & Preview", select "Load Draft" (located near the Submit button) and it will load it back into an active post for you.

Hope this helps!

Kristi
