I know someone threw out a website (they still haven't approved me) and I'm not advertising for sale but can anyone help with a good place to *EDITED LIST THINGS FOR SALE.***
I got a spyderfly 440C (all steel) and I need a new blade? Training blade? And latch spring my blade is a total length of 4.75 and a thickness of 1/8 with two pivot nubs being 4.75mm in diameter and blade width is 1 7/32 at widest point.
hey guys and gals,
I know its been a little while since i have posted but i have a quick question. I have been looking at the spyderco Autonomy for some time now. It would be the perfect knife for my job. I recently found a few for sale at a price i cant...
This post is not directed at those knife aficionados on the forum who live outside of the United States, as the laws regarding balisongs and automatic knives vary greatly from country to country. I am sure that some will take this post as a personal...
No im not buying both, As i know its gonna be said. :)
I don't do auto's alot unless they really strike me or are somewhat on the low numbers list. But i have a few and these two from Spyderco really interest me.
Just got a new citadel and I really love it except for a little side to side blade play cant seem to correct it but its not that bad.came scary sharp and I really like all the material its made of.would be my favorite knife if they made it duel action.it...
The Autonomy was announced in 2012. It even won the Blade Show honors (congrats). And it is in the 2013 catalog. But has anyone heard when it will hit the street? And it is ambidextrous too (big deal for us lefties). Thanks!
Just wanted to pry for a little info from some of the all-knowing Spyderco Junkies. Look what I found in my cave.... an original Spyderfly made from VG-10. Brand new, never used nor sharpened, but the box has been roughed up a little....
Has Spyderco ever considered or made a prototype of an OTF? I think a Spyderco OTF could be really cool, and it would give us some options for OTF's other than MT, or the few models that BM has.
First of all, I know Spyderco's stance on balisongs and trainers. I fully understand and respect their position and I'm in no way trying to get around any laws. I'm trying to understand them. Can anyone tell me if a balisong trainer (from some...
Hey all, I posted this on the restricted section originally, but nobody goes there... So I just obtained a 92mm Citadel, and after playing with it for a few hours I have discovered that the safety is too lose. It can be moved on or off just by tilting it,...
Okay guys, so I just recently obtained a 92mm Citadel, and I've been playing with it for a few hours now, and I found that the lock is really lose. It still works, but I found that if I hold it straight up or down the lock will engage or disengage. Does...
I've read the knife laws for New Jersey and I still am not sure if balisongs are legal to own or not. I just want one for the collection and not to carry. Anyone know for sure? I've been looking around on various forums and everyone seems to have a...
I purchased a NIB Smallfly from the marketplace, and it seems to have a screw missing. The seller indicated it was this way. Some photos also indicate a missing screw (empty hole), so I think this is the way it is. Can someone confirm?
I have been on a balisong kick due to the fact i dont have one and how awesome the Smallfly looks. Every knife i own i give it some EDC time and i dont buy knives to have them sit in the box. Do you all think that this could be a knife that could get some...
Any recommendations for trainers? The knives are illegal to carry in Wisconsin but I'd like to learn how to flip those things around. Cheap ones are listed online for $15 but I don't want one that will fall apart after 20 minutes of use.
Besides the blade steel and name stamping/etching.I see from pics the spacing on the handles at the latch is different.First run have a gap same a the spyderfly but the later runs the handles are very close to touching. This causes the latch to open at the...
I am looking to get a butterfly knife and I really like the old spyderco designs, like the Szabofly and the Spyderfly, but those are hard to find, so does anyone know if Spyderco is working on anything new?
I know mike has said there's a lot going on at golden and he brought the rights and patents with him when he left blackhawk. Is there any news that can be given about this knife. I'm sure it has to be made in golden but is it still on the backburner. Did...
As many of you know the Citadel has now been discontinued :( . However if you would like to pick one up before they disappear  Cutlery Shoppe has them on closeout for 120 (small version) and 125 (lager version). They has the DLC coated blades and the...
i found the trademark round hole
of paramilitary2 (C81CFP2/C81GPBN2/C81GPBL2)is larger than the military's (C36CFM390P/C36CFBGP), and it is beyond 14mm, why?
I've been EDC'ing my Sage 1 for about 1month straight. I got to say the opening is Buttery Smooth. It has become my favorite knife in my collection. I must say I do baby the knife though. It's too beutiful to thrash. The lockup is perfect. Any...
I was wondering if anyone has ever seen or attempted to polish the handles on a Spyderco Spyderfly? I currently have the rainbow and both standard versions (vg10 and 440c) and I was thinking about attempting to polish the handles on one of the standards....
We'll be moving Spyderco.com to a new server on Thursday, 9-Feb and we'll also be upgrading the Forums at the same time. We believe downtime for Spyderco.com will be minimal (2-4...
A couple of months ago I talked to customer service and was told I can't buy balisong parts. I only wanted clips and latch for a B02. I was told no cigar. I let it go. But the more I think about it, the more pissed I become. In the last 4 months I bought...
This thread has probably been discussed many times over, but I would like to know from the users who own both or have owned both. I know the blade length is similar and the function is obviously the same, so which seems to have the best handle ergos and...
