Re: Endura dud or fake?

my question is this: As far as everyone here knows, has anyone ever directly confronted a knife counterfeiter and what was their response? I would like to see these people confronted and see what their responses are to the fact that they are basically thieves. Do you mean that direct manufacturers ...

Re: Amsterdam Meet 2015 report of upcoming Spyderco prototypes

I LOVE the handles on the Tighe Stick and the Vrango. The 3D machining on the Stick is wicked! The different anodizing on the edges of the Vrango is absolutely beautiful! The only downside are the blade shapes. The blade shapes on both of those might prevent me from buying them. I just dont see much...

Re: Amsterdam Meet 2015 report of upcoming Spyderco prototypes

The Filip de Leeuw Myrtle looks like a very interesting piece. What is that handle material; Is that CF, G-10? Is the bolster and the lock side Ti?

The Nirvana is a decent looking knife. I usually do not like knifes with Ti on the front side, but this one might change my mind. Time will tell.

I really enjoy Mike's videos. I also really enjoy the designer's videos. It's a neat little touch that makes the Spyderco line feel a bit more personal.

Re: Amsterdam Meet 2015 report of upcoming Spyderco prototypes

OMG Mamba! I was starting to fall asleep with what was being posted. That Mabma just woke me up! That is the most wicked looking Spyderco i have ever seen! I looks like it is going to be expensive; Contoured CF, Ti liners. Probably Rubicon and Lionspy price range. I'm going to have to sell a kidney ...

I also had BM in mind but to me the handle looks very 710 in appearance. Now that you mention Griptillian i can really see that too. It's almost like they married the two designs together.

If given the choice i'll take the CC version, but i wont pay more for it. If more is being asked for the CC then i just take the regular version.

Re: passing on the Kiwi 4

I agree that the kiwi4 is rather tiny. It is not something that i would normally carry. For some reason when i saw the knife it called my name and i just had to get one. The blade shape is very nice and the handle is very comfortable for how small it is. The entire package is very petite and refined...

Re: Roc getting close

it was a pretty n00b move by me. <head held low in shame> I usually search for that kind of stuff before i post. One of my frequent vendors had just posted the knife for pre-sale and it was dated 3/5, so i got immediately excited and posted it here.

Re: Smaller knives.Just can't warm up to them.

Anything smaller than 3" to me doesn't feel right. I usually carry something in the 3.5" to 4" range as this blade size just feels multipurpose to me. That being said, sometimes a 3" blade gives you better control depending on what you are doing. I have many 3" knives that i...

I wonder if they would make the handle tip-up and tip-down compatible if they made a new sprint?
