Another vote of confidence for Cutlery Shoppe, their customer service is great and so are their prices. They don't always have everything in stock, but its a small store and they will fill your order when they renew stock. They will even inspect the knife for flaws for you before sending it off if y...

Brilliant, they will sell every last one of them to dumb, billionaire CEOs and rappers. Wish I had come up with that one. Thats 10 million dollars, minus probably 10k for materials and machining, add another 10k for sharpening and blade replacement over the next 10 years. Thats a pretty nice profit ...

The double stuff is definitely great, my personal favorite are the 702 M/F files, I wish they would make them again. I've been wanting a ceramic stone "eraser" for a while but haven't gotten one because they are about $5 and to order one the shipping would be about twice that almost and I ...

I carry a dfly salt every day in my pocket, people don't care and I live and work in a very non-knife friendly environment. The choil is not an issue at all, if you put your index finger in the choil and your thumb on the ramp, the knife is not going anywhere without first mangling your thumb and pa...

Thats a nice edge you put on that sucker.

I managed to get one as well against all hope, and if this stuff is as close to S90V as people say it is, I want more of it in all my favorite Spyderco models :)

sounds interesting. I'm already in a short preorder line for the lion spy. but, what could possibly special about a friction folder?...I like my locks...to lock. It was just a very beautiful knife, very nice lines and a little more ornate and unusual looking, amazing gentleman's knife. I could easi...

Blade 2011 prototype impressions

I got to play with a few upcoming knives at Blade, both the Lionsteel collaboration and the Dialex are definitely must have knives, both feel fantastic in hand. One prototype caught my eye in particular, a small friction folder that Sal said they are considering making into a Spyderco production mod...

Sounds good.

While you're at it, add holes in this and the original sharpmaker that would take the 701MF PROfiles..

Got a drawer full of cheap pocket knives at work (some vendors will send you a crappy knife for free when you spend over a certain amount on an order), if someone asks to borrow my knife I usually just give them one from the drawer to keep. People like wife, friends and family I tend to give good kn...

Honda is proven quality, I believe they make some of the best bikes out there.

Consider something larger than a 250cc that runs at fewer rpms, less trouble - more torque, and you will want something bigger after a few months of riding a 250cc.

I know nothing about Australia's constitution but don't see how it's even possible to have a law making one guilty until proven innocent. It's pretty hard to prove that you intended to use the knife for a legal purpose. Sadly a lot of countries have this kind of reversed burden of proof on many law...

I saw this on tv recently and even noticed the Spyderco, but I can't for the life of me remember what the show was. Considering its travel channel, its very likely Bizarre Foods (only show I watch regularly on that channel).

No-one has yet made the obvious recommendation: Get one of each, they are small enough that its not a problem to keep on your keychain and you'll have the right tool for the job every time :)
