Re: USCG Orange Autonomy

I've never owned an Embassy but I've had many Citadels. I hope to find an Embassy one of these days. They seldom seem to come up for sale.

I sincerely hope the Autonomy isn't the last auto they plan on making. I'd love to see a PE version also in blue G10 with M390. ;)

It doesn't get much better than Spydie gifts!

Btw do you have a Techno? The Bowie looks like an XL version of it and I was wondering if you could give a comparison of the two.

Re: USCG Orange Autonomy

One thing that confuses me is that I'd expect Spyderco to have the NSN number engraved on the knife. This is common practice for most NSN listed knives and other combat tools. I noticed in the 2015 catalog that the Opfocus NSN listings did not include the Autonomy either, and Spyderco has several k...

Re: USCG Orange Autonomy

Nice felly! That's a great one to have, I'm sure there won't be many civilians with the CG version. I'm throughly enjoying my black one. Is the only difference the G10 color and lack of safety? Thanks, I'm lovin' it! It also doesn't come with a pocket clip because it was designed to fit inside a sp...

I was able to order extra pocket clips for mine but that may be because the Manix 2 LW uses the same one's.

It has that awesome "pocket worn" look to it which makes it even better looking IMO. ;)

Re: Dinosaur Bone C04 - Executive "Gift" Knife

I don't see what makes the Dino Executive so desirable. It's just a regular Spydie customized by Santa Fe Stoneworks and distributed through Spyderco. There were 30 made IIRC. I've owned one of those 30 Dino Bone Executives and what I valued more than anything was the story behind the knife. The ex...

I could have had a new one for $75 I bought one from a dealer in 2005 when they came out for about $...
