So I use a ceramic rod only on my kitchen cutlery. Ceramic is the best system next to using a 8k polishing stone. Metal ones are fine but they can damage your wire edge over time and metal ones will get tired and ware out, where ceramic will just only need a simple run down with a superacer.

Ok so at some point today he showed back up at the house. I am relived to know he is doing ok. We now are going to take away his car keys and try to see if we can get a in home nurse for him and my grandma or get them moved into a home.

Ill get some more photos soon on the knife and as for Cowry X it is one of the top 3 steels in the world. It is known to have a Rockwell of 63-67 depending on the heat treatment. The steel gets WICKEDLY sharp and holds it crazy long.
