VG10 and S30V differences
So is there any significant differences between these steels? I do not know a whole bunch about steels. And if so, what are the differences? I the type of person that rarely uses a knife, but like to carry one nonetheless. Thanks

Pic Request: Endura, Delica, Native together or just two together.
If anyone has a comparison pic with these three knives next to each other open and closed I would greatly appreciate it. If not, and you have two of the three, could you post comparrison pics of them. Thanks.

Smudge, for your purposes, I'd go with the Endura as long as the intended pocket is deep enough. Are you thinking serrated, partial or plain? I would think serrated would be preferable as it is always ready to cut almost regardless of maintainance. Which ever one I end up choosing I will likely get...

Endura 4 or Delica 4?
Looking for an inexpensive knife to carry for general purpose stuff (misc cutting) and possible use as self defense as a last resort. I am a police officer, and the knife will be carried either clipped in a pants front pocket (which I really do not like this method of carry), or most likely in a poc...

Where to find new Endura?
I like the looks of the newest Endura with combo edge. Problem is that I cannot find them. There is currently one on ebay, but there are 5+ days left in the auction and no "Buy It Now". Could someone tell me where I can get one? Thanks

Was going to get the Native, but am now considering the Delica4.
So what should I do? I really like the looks of that Delica4. Can anyone compare the two of these knives - quality, steel, blade length and cutting length. I was all set to order the Native, but now I am all sorts of confused. And NO, I do not have the funds to buy both. Any help is much appreciated.

Will Spyderco do anything for me in my situation?
I have an older model Endura where the tip of the blade broke off. If I send it back to them is there any chance that they would replace the blade, or better yet replace the knife? Thanks

Native, Endura or Delica
Hello:
Need a somewhat inexpensive knife for cutting stuff and possibly self defense. I like the three knives that I listed. What are the differences in quality between them (steel, handle, ect), and which would suit me best (self defense and cutting misc stuff)? Thanks
Happy New year

I wouldn't even go there without some kind of training. If you're needing to ask the question you did, I suspect you might have little to none. I have no training in this area myself and my first thought is **** yeah, it's plenty big enough. But with me, having no SD training with a knife, I'd empl...

Spyderco Native's blade big enough for self defense?
I am looking for a somewhat cheap and durable knife to carry for, among other reasons, the possible use of self defense. I am looking at the. I have noticed that the cutting edge on this blade is only a little larger than 2.50" and that the entire blade is just over 3". I am also looking a...

Would The Native be a good knife for me??
Hello: I am new to the forum and in the market for a new knife. I am a cop and need a knife mostly for cutting stuff (possibly seatbelts and other things that everyone else cuts) and self defense. I do not want anything expensive in the event that I lose the knife. I like the looks, feel and price o...
