Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Thanks lonerider! Is that a stainless Izula? You're welcome. Yes, it is. I wanted a smallish fixed blade and got stainless because I figured if I didn't, carrying it in a belt sheath under an untucked shirt would lead to some serious rust lol. If I had more $ I'd have gone for a salt version of the...

(the watch is an old Seiko diver with a modified bezel and far too much abuse. But same shade of yellow!)

Re: I'm falling out of love with the Compression Lock
I'd say 90% of my compression lock use is with the thumb on the back of the handle or blade. I can definitely see how the webbing of your hand can get irritated without that bracing. Get well soon, hand! :) Same here. But then most of my bigger folders are lockbacks so for harder tasks I'm not usin...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Also: I somehow got sent this instead of a delica lightweight lol. When the shop opens Monday (they are closed now) -- it's not too far away -- I intend to go there and pay the difference, because I'm not a crook, but the irony is if I'd known they had the para3 lw's I'd have ordered one anyway. It ...

Para3 lightweight.
Very cool knife and totally smooth action despite what some thought in the beginning. Either that or new knife optimism lol. Even love the wire clip.

Re: So... how is the spydiechef for lefties?
Thanks all.
It is hard to decide on some of these knives because a lot of brick and mortar stores won't let you in to try em these days! I was fortunate to have a spydie dealer within driving distance; prefer to see the stuff myself but the collective experience of the forum is the next best thing!

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Finishing up the flats on octagon nunchucks where the draw knife couldn't get to (the end that was in the vise).
Disclaimer: I have no idea how to use nunchucks and am not a ninja, (not even a mall ninja) it just seemed like a cool rainy day project...

So... how is the spydiechef for lefties?
Thinking about the spydiechef or kapara. The kapara seems more ambi friendly but the spydiechef just seems so awesome (and I do often prepare food lol!) Any idea how the chef is for lefties? It looks like the hole is half hidden on that side and only relieved on the other, but am curious if it can s...

.. If you treat it as normal and no big deal, and only quietly use them and put them away, they won’t treat it as a big deal, either. Jim Thats kind of my approach too which is why it hasn't been a big deal although I no doubt think about it. It is funny how we all kind of have this tendency to do ...

Changing size comfort zone...
So carrying the Endura more. I used to just carry it when out in the woods hiking or mt biking or around the house, where it doesn't matter how big or what a knife is. My "comfort zone" was smaller knives, maybe mid-size, like the native, delica, para3. Part of this was concern over "...
