:spyder: I believe Mr. Janich is just taking the endura down to Co's legal blade length limit. He went with the endura since it has a trainer. The yoji 2 is a true wharnie isn't it? The be wharned and dat little fixed blade he made for blackhawk wheren't true wharnies. If I remember from conversati...

The modifications serve a few purposes. Please also keep in mind that the modified Endura was something Mike did for his private students. It was later offered through Stay Safe Media to the general public. 1. The shortened blade allows the knife to be legally carried in Colorado (where the bulk of ...

I've used BOB bags in my school for years now. It's great for combatives classes! I have one in my basement too. I have it dressed with a jacket and a shemagh. It's pointed toward the downstairs window. When people visit the house they always jump when they catch a glimpse of it out of the corner of...

How much?! You've gotta be kidding :D Are there really that many people who will pay over $1000 bucks for a small prop that hardly gets a few seconds on screen?! Besides, the movie was hardly Citizen Kane was it ... I can't even remember the plot. I found it amusing too. Hard to believe but the ent...

Stay Safe Media is producing a new set of MBC DVD's that will be the new standard in Martial Blade Concepts. The Fighting Folders series is still a great "snapshot in time" of the method as it once was but the system has evolved (an improved) so much that much of what is contained is not a...

Evil D is correct. Mike intentionally left the jimping off the back of the blade to prevent it from damaging the thumb in case the knive met with resistance during a thrust. The Modified Filipino Grip taught in MBC melds so seamlessly with the Yojimbo 2. This is one well thought out design.

I cannot access the Youtube link because I'm at work. I am guessing you are referring to the Tueller Drill. The Tueller Drill has been widely discussed, debated and misunderstood for years ever since Dennis Tueller developed the drill back in the early 1980's. Here's some more information on the top...
