Re: Delica 5
Gotta agree with Quick Draw. I carry a Delica mainly as an office/gentlemans blade. A version in good ol' micarta would suit me fine. Yes to more FRN colour choice Yes to a CF version Yes to coloured G10 Yes to a deep carry option - after market clips Sal??!! No to the choil. It wouldn't be a Delica...

Re: Why did the D'Allara discontinue?
Slightly unrelated guys but anyone know who designed the D'allara? As I understand it, Spyderco designed it n renamed it later to honour Officer D'allara?

Re: Show off your latest purchase
Trying to post pics of the CF Zowanda I received this morning but the file size is too large.
It's a knife I wasn't drawn to but in the hand it's feels amazing! Excellent fit and finish.
Thanks to a friend in Austria for sending it to me.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
I've got Spyder eyes. My bank balance disagrees with everything I'm making it do. Last week I received a Rock Lobster with a Krein regrind (just a little bit sharp :D) and a C41PPR Native Forum knife. This morning it was a C50 Centofante and a C62 Navigator. Later this week there's a CF Zowanda due ...

Re: Any chance of sprint run Standard?
+1 from me. Love the Standard (also known as the Economy). It was my first Spydie years n years ago. It did evolve into the Delica so I've gotta agree, it's not a likely candidate. The Worker was likely done as it was their first model and therefore a special sprint. But maybe they could do a sprint...

Re: What Spydeco is in your pocket today??
SH - SuperBlue Deli, like it. Sharp as **** hey! That DB is tempting. It's smaller than I thought. I've got the JB Rescue and side by side there's not much in it. Is there a list anywhere of Moki models. They do the Jess Horn don't they? I'd be interested to know the models they produce there. (It's...

For me (in no particular order):

C42 Viele
C11 Delica (Gen 2 w SS scales)
C25 Centofante (Alu/rubber scales)
My grandkids can buy their own, I'm taking mine to the grave...

Re: IG-88's Spyderco Accumulation :-) (Lot of Pics)
Hi IG-88, superb thread. It's easy to see you've put a lot of time and effort in. Living where you do, how do you source your Spydies? I live in the UK and sometimes struggle to find those grail knives. I love the older models, those Endura 1's are awesome. I've a few old Viele's and Centofante's, g...

1. Michael Walker (any variation) 2. Centofante II (C50) 3. Dyad Jr. FRN There are others, but these above are near the top of my list. Definitely agree with those SN. The CF Walker is always in my rotation. Great EDC blade for office/town. All the old Centofante's are superb. Some of my favourites...

Re: How did you fall down the Spyder hole?
My dad gave my the desire for EDC with the SAK's he carried as a sparky (electrition), and then with a bone handled fixed blade he gave me for outdoor missions and camping. Something we did every week growing up in The Lake District. I've been carrying Spyderco for so long it's hard to remember when...
