Re: so... next reveal?

I don't really care about the next reveal, I want knives that I can actually buy, like the Magnacut ukpk.

Re: K390 Worth it?

Love it.
Sure, it's not fun to reprofile on the diamond rods, or I just need new ones, but getting it sharp and keeping it sharp is easy on the sharpmaker.
Sure, it is not stainless, but imho myich more so than for example m4.

Re: Smock vs. Sliverax

Sliverax. The smock is cool and all, but to me it is more a nice toy than a good knife, though people will certainly disagree... Ergos on the smock simply weren good for me when trying to cut boxes for example with hot spots etc. The blade shape is nice, but the heel of the blade tends to catch onto...

Re: getting the itch for a delica wharncliffe

Absolutely no clue about the SD aspect, and never going to use mine in that regard. But I sure love my Wharncliffe delicas. Have the Hap40 and the k390 and they are my primary box cutters/destroyers. Excellent for EDC purposes except for food prep. I would prefer the normal blade for that, but WC wo...

Re: UKPK Salt now in Magnacut!

I guess there is no news on this one yet? I saw that Stok pop up on European dealers, which is the second most wanted spyderco ATM, but I am still waiting for this one.

Still waiting for this as well... While there are fancier and more desirable knives coming out or already released, this is the one I am waiting for.

Got RGT micarta scales on my normal version and it works just fine with enough grip.

a single mm is a huge difference when we're talking about cutting geometry. it's also a big difference for kidney stones, so i hear.
Well that's the way I see it in blade stock as well... Don't know about kidney stones though. :winking-tongue

Re: enuff 2!!!

Well the 4mm blade stock was what always kept me from the enuff. I realise that it might just be my imagination of making a difference, but as I only need an edc knife and nothing related to survival/bushcraft I only need the knife to cut and slice well. So I am very excited for the enuff 2 moving t...

Re: stok drop point

While I am still on the fence about the steel, this is actually very high on my list. Like second, right after the ukpk Magnacut and before the enuff 2 in k390.
Love the blade shape, legal to carry, looks like an excellent allrounder.

I'd love to get an update on this one as well. Specifically on the ukpk in Magnacut that was shown in the product overview.
If one of those ever pops up at a European retailer, I want one!

Re: Spyderco Siren CF/S90v Sprint…In The Wild!

I really like the design but the steel of the original and the fact that it had some blade play made me sell it.
This combination sounds like a really nice EDC and I think I will give it another shot.

Re: BladeHQ Exclusive Lum Tanto

AFAIK it was a deliberate decision back then to go with the hap40 laminate instead of the M4 despite using the bladehq / M4 colour scheme. I wish I could get one of these as I already missed out on the hap40 ones... But aside from probably being gone in a minute, the cost of shipping plus import mak...

Re: M4 Shaman vs Cruwear PM2 vs GB2

I would pick the GB2 any day... My only issue is that the M4 (regardless which knife) starts picking up black spots within a day in the pocket. I wish we would get a GB2 in something like S90V... I would be set. Why wouldn't you go with the Shaman as it is a coated blade? Thanks for the post Possum...
