Wonderful moment, lost my old man at 58 to kidney cancer, would do anything to share more time together!

Re: Shaving/Rounding 'Horn' on Manix 2 XL Handle
Excellent, I thought a dremel would work for this, like I said I only intend to trim maybe 1mm - 2mm max. I assume to maintain handle integrity I just have to be careful not to grind into a skeletonized opening, correct? I apologize if this is rookie-type stuff, but modding anything on a knife is to...

Shaving/Rounding 'Horn' on Manix 2 XL Handle
Hi All, My Manix 2 XL arrived today and it's awesome! Smooth, razor sharp, and feels so well built. That said, I have discovered an unfortunate comfort issue...my pinkie finger is pinched in by the so-called 'Horn' at the base of handle. Has anyone shaved or rounded this 'Horn' down to make the butt...

BB Lock, more defined ergos, better choil, and all that jimping...i'm all about the Manix 2 XL! Mine is on order and while I agree the millie is a solid knife, the Manix 2 XL is a flat out beast!

Hey All, My Spyderco Manix 2 XL has been ordered and should arrive Dec. 1st! I'm so stoked I can hardly wait! Oddly, this will actually be my first non-DLC black blade... Anyone have any good suggestions for useful mods, upgrades, tips, etc? I just want to get the most out of my Manix. Thanks & ...

Re: Request: Resilience / Tenacious Sprint Run
Appreciate the responses and insight guys...in the mean time maybe I should just buy a Resilience...according to my better half, a Manix 2 XL is apparently going to be under the tree! And dont hate me for blaspheming but my CS Recon 1 Tanto XL just arrived ;) its very nice but my Spyderco is still m...

Re: Request: Resilience / Tenacious Sprint Run
I know it's a lot to ask for and that I'm asking for a Military in a lot of ways. The kicker for me, is as much as I love the technical specs of the military, for some reason I'm not a fan of the blade shape or how it felt to me...I know, i'm strange! lol

Resilience Deployment! Advice Please!
Greetings All, I'm a long time fan of Spyderco, but this is my first post. I currently have an Endura combo edge, and am almost set to pull the trigger on a Manix 2 XL. That said, I recently visited a local shop and played around with a Resilience. I fell in love with how fast and smooth the blade d...
