Re: Maxamet Paramilitary 2...return of the king!
So what about Maxamet would make me pay $200 for a PM2 over say my CTS 204P model? How much did you pay for your CTS 204P model? Not sure honestly. Also not trying to down Maxamet just curious how it differs from steels I already have. It's almost 10 points harder on the Rockwell scale, while some ...

Re: DLC 20CV PM2?
In defense of black, if it's DLC...it takes A LOT to actually scratch up the blade. Chances are you're seeing material from what has been cut on the blade, not actual scratches on the blade itself. DLC cleans up very well with some Flitz and then a little mineral oil to bring back the shine. Before...

Re: DLC 20CV PM2?
Had my 110V Manix made stupid sharp by a guy here in Michigan and it has finally broke in so that the blade drops freely when I close it. Loving it a good bit more then I did.
Seeing how the DLC cleans up makes me regret not getting one of the Grey/DLC Manix

Re: Military...so much handle
After using it this morning doing some outside work, I have to admit...it really is a great knife. I never ran out of cutting edge, never had to worry about getting the pivot dirty when digging out weeds from the mulch. I also did some chopping to round off a few of our shrubs and bushes. Extremely...

Trying to catch the local black powder place open so I can get me some of that Ballistol.
