Re: Could there be a folding sheepfoot on the future

Maybe that new Cleaver that is supposed to be coming this year? I love my Breeden Rescue (and dig my little 555HG w/ Wilkinsgrip also) and that Cleaver caught my eye. Benchmade had that Bone Collector collaboration also, which from what I remember was a similar blade to what you say you like. yes I...

Re: A conversation with Gayle Bradley - PSF27

... I have s30v How do you find it compares to PSF27? Its hard for me to explain but I feel the PSF27 gets that numb edge that cuts really well, and S30V gets that screaming edge loud more aggressive in a way. As far as sharpening I think to get a good edge on a PSF27 takes longer than on S30V but ...

I like the steel psf27 got the mules it is very similar as far as sharpening and cutting ability as my queen D2 folding knife but the PSF27 I think I can push it to a lower angle and still get a good edge. I will also be getting Mr. Bradley's bowie

Re: Could there be a folding sheepfoot on the future

Ok I don't want this to sound the wrong way but I would really like spyderco to design something similar to a Benchmade 550HG or 555HG that is actually the only benchmade I like. Because of the sheepfoot blade design and the spyderco hole. I know there was the rock lobster but many people did not l...

Re: Is rust likely on a SB pivot? (DF2)

Tuff glide with needle applicator that works, the pivot is a moving part so I do think out of the whole knife that should be looked after more often. Carbon steel is a very nice steel specially from Japan but it does need more attention. The laminated only protects what is not exposed, the pivot hol...

Re: Any love for the Squeak?

I love the squeak I actually got it for my wife in pink at first, but after I handled it for a couple of days it was just a matter of time until I got mine. Sure did a couple of weeks later. Its an awesome little knife with great ergonomics I like it and I do carry it once in a while as my main EDC ...

so far just the large 6" utility black PE, black SE, blue SE. The smaller utility 4" black PE, black SE, Red SE. The black small paring and the Santoku that is it that is all they show. Waiting to see if they come out with a chefs knife and boning knife.

Re: Features of a Spyderco knife best for fishing

I usually go for H1 models but VG10 also will work it has better edge retention on PE. My preferred knife is a Salt 1 SE and a DGF H1 SE(have it with an attached key floater to it) that is for utility and everything else but for cleaning fish I just use one of those Rapala Martini 7 1/2 fillet knives.

Re: I need help picking a large folder.

I would go with the Tatanka Spyderco knives are much nicer than CS in my opinion. Dont get me wrong I got my share of CS knives but I rarely carry them.
