Re: LIL NILAKKA first thoughts

My heart says use it, my head and the collector in me says keep it in the pouch. I wish I had the budget for two. Nice review, glad to see you're putting it through the paces.

Re: Lil' Nilakka Roll Call!! (Flash Batch Database)

Not sure if worriors and wonders is gonna get any Pretty sure warriors and wonders gets approximately 10 of all sprint runs, that is what they have told me in the past. I think only for the runs less than 600 would that be different. Usually a month behind though. I was going to go with W&W but...

Re: Lil' Nilakka Roll Call!! (Flash Batch Database)

Has anyone ordered or received one from knifecenter? My KC pre order is my mail box right now, #2 I ordered one from them on Sunday. Not a preorder, they were showing as available but I didn't realize they did not have any in stock. I'm jealous of all those who have one. Oh well if my order gets ca...

Re: Scales on the Lil' Lum Nishijin Sprint ...

Hmm. After reviewing the photos provided by the OP, my knife shares similar issues. Like a scratch on the clip and a little bulge near the lanyard tube. Still love the knife, I guess I will make it a user instead of a collector.

I did not have a lum, or a knife with nishijin, so I picked one up. It's a very lovely piece, love it.

I think they call them snail trails because they usually meander across, as opposed to a scratch which is usually has a very defined direction.

Re: What's a snail trail?

Usually a long light scratch on a titanium scale. I had a snail trail on my dice when I received it in the mail. Nothing to worry about except aesthetically.

Re: Knife laws in Canada

The only restrictions here are, no autos or butterfly knives. If you carry a fixed blade it must not be consealed. If the knife can be opened by gravity it is also prohibited. If you hold the lock bar on your pm2 and it flops open that is ok as you have to maniplate the lock, but if you can hold th...

I can confirm that they are milled out. Plus an interesting thing is that it looks like peel-ply texture is on the inside next to the liners.
Yeah, it definitely looks like peel-ply on the inside of the scale.

Re: C41NSPSRD5 - Native 5 Never Summer Exclusive - Available NOW

I was glad people posted photos of the knife here. Aside from lack of funds,I was hoping for them to be about the same red as on Spyderco's boxes. But they seemed a bit deeper in color, ultimately I chose not to get one. I'll probably kick myself later.
