LCR 357 or 38+P
Interested in these compact revolvers. Just wondering if anyone out there has used either of them and which they would recommend. If you go with the 38, would you recommend the hammerless version or the LCR-X?
Re: Benchmade
I'm a huge Benchmade fan, and I have been for several years. Everything I've ever had from them is extremely high quality. Their warranty is totally on point too if needed (I've broken a lot of blades dropping them and bouncing off of steel down 3 decks on a submarine will do that...all replaced for...

Re: .243 Win Guns
Update: So I after a lot of research, I went with a Savage Model 11 Trophy Predator hunter. I got it in the biggest caliber offered.... .243. I have to say that I am VERY GLAD I did. After a few adjustments on the range of the scope I was shooting 1/2 MOA easily and even some ragged holes (shooting ...

Yeah ferric chloride, love the way it turned out[/quote]
Thats what I thought, I have a PM2 that I might give that treatment. How long did you soak it for? Ive done a Tenacious and Persistence already, just wondering how a more premium steel would handle it.

.243 Win Guns
I'm in the market for a good budget .243 bolt gun (they're fun to shoot, and accurate). It will be used for dog (coyote) hunting and maybe deer/antelope. Through my research, I think it fits the gap that I have in my range of guns (currently owned: .17 HMR, .223 AR x2, 30-06 Remington 7400, 7mm Rem ...

Re: Cannot decide on which Seki-City FRN to EDC
Both are great choices and I carry both regularly. Having done so, I say Delica all the way. I love the D-Fly, but it's a little on the small side for me.

Re: New Delica Problems
Update: My new one is on the way, should be here in a few days. Can't wait to get it, I was really stoked to get an FFG Delica back into the rotation (idk why I sold the one I had...). On the topic of fakes being sent to legit dealers, I did notice 2 things that were off with it besides the previous...

Re: What are the chances of...
Cruwear PM2 would be outstanding! Don't really care for the looks of the Foundry (not really a fan of the all stainless models, call me shallow), not enough contrast for me/plain looking. I would sport one with some G10 or even better micarta on it...

Re: What is your little big knife preference?
All about the SE Dragonfly Salt, I like the Golden Blades and I'd like to see them get back into this field. Golden Blades are my fave. Can't beat the PM2, M2, or Millie. One of them is typically paired with a D-Fly or a Lady/Manbug.

Re: New Delica Problems
A lemon squeeks by with every company I guess. Still, even if a QC guy missed it, sounds like it was bad enough for someone to have noticed it along the assy line somewhere. Sure wish you had taken pictures. I'd like to have seen it. But I understand you wanting to get it in the mail fast. Taking i...

Re: New Delica Problems
I've owned probably 50 in the last few years and this was certainly abnormal to me, had never seen anything like it. Everything else I've had has been spot on, I agree its a freak occurrence. I know these kind of things happen, I'm just bummed that I'm delayed having that blade in my pocket! The ven...

New Delica Problems
So I ordered a shiny new FFG Delica in green from a very reputable source online last weekend and it came in the mail yesterday. I was horrified at what I saw, and frankly I was shocked. The fit and finish of it was absolutely horrible, and I'm surprised it made it out of the factory that way. This ...

I've been looking around for a new blade and the Lionspy has caught my eye. Just wondering if anyone out there carries one (either full size or lil) and what they think of it. PICS WELCOME! :D

White vinegar (applied in carefully sized and located drops, then wrinsed off after a few minutes and repeated), and fresh lemon (thinly sliced, with juice allowed to sit for a few minutes, then wrinsed off and repeated). Best to let the discoloration build slowly, in numerous repetitions. I was th...

M4
I just scored a M4 Manix on the secondary market and I am very pleased with it. I was wondering what techniques to prevent rust were. I thought about a forced patina, but wanted to see what others did first! Pics welcome! :D thanks for the help!
