DSCF9623thumb.jpg This is my M390 Spits resting on one of the late Neolithic standing stones of Stanton Drew stone circle, a mile or so from where I grew up, and in the shadow of Maes Knoll iron age fort. It's an eery feeling walking amongst the stones, knowing how important this place would have b...

Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run
Anyway back on topic, I have a feeling this will work v well indeed for it's intended purpose. Great that Sal and co chose to re-release it for this sprint 😎 Gave the knife a good work out gutting and filleting some mackerel this morning. I do still marginally prefer my fixed blade fillet knife (Mo...

I thought the Waterway an excellent knife at exceptional value. I sold all other my fixed blades.

Re: Victorinox going bladeless
I have a Vic Jetsetter, which is the Compact without a blade. It’s a stress free option on flights, international trains and urban venues, and better than nothing.
Except where I expect scanners, I also keep a Bantam in the zippered coin section of my wallet, however, which never gets checked.

Good review, thank you for posting!
I agree with you on most counts, but would point out that the shorter backspring on the UKPK actually makes it lighter than the Urban.

It’s interesting how the continued, deliberate propagation of division in our societies develops.

I don’t mind lanyard holes as long as they don’t add too much extra weight.

Re: Upcoming P.I.T.S. 2
I’m very satisfied with the Spits m390 so have passed on the opportunity to acquire an Alien on a couple of times, now.
The general consensus is that it’s a slightly lighter action than the Pits, smaller and more pocketable, but that has been people comparing it to the non Spyderco version.

The Dragonfly is a beefed up Manbug, whereas the Lil Native is a shrunk Native ….

A little less than that at Edgar Bros, the UK importer, and in stock.
As an aside, this is by far the best folder I’ve ever used for food prep.

Re: Catcherman LC200N Sprint Run
Mine arrived today. I’ve been after a Catcherman for a long while, and I’m delighted. I’m no fisherman, but I live near the sea and do buy and prepare fresh fish, and it feels like it should be a great general food prep knife, too.
