Re: Spyderco that is carried across the world in a kayak!

That is pretty rad! Good to see her worthy choice. Thanks for sharing with the forum! Looks like they may have cooler stories to tell than I do, wow, what an adventure. Do you often host long distance kayakers? you're welccome. not often, they're the first ones. But hey if any of you are coming to ...

She's showing me her :spyder: Tasman Salt!!! She's carrying it for 9 years straight! Wow! Her companion, Jus...

Re: S30v is a **** fine steel

I also a fan of S30V. easy to sharpen, hold a nice toothy edge for long. I didn't favor S110V and S90V because in my use i will have to sharpen them everyday due to chipping (they are too brittle)

Re: Sprints..Big Deal

Most cherished sprints I got is a Superblue Caly3 and a Cruwear Millie. I was late getting the SB Caly3.5! but I guess I prefer the 3. I bought it at my friend's B&M shop here in Indonesia. Got them after they are sold out at Knifeworks. I was saving every penny back then. Was expensive but trad...

Re: Let's come up with Anti-Counterfeiting devices?

DONT put the 'anti counterfeiting devices' on the box... like what Deacon said, do buy from reputable source that has no return policy... let's say some thief bought an endura, switched it with fake endura and send it back with the box to the seller to get refund/ another knife

I am still thinking the Chokwe is one of the hidden and forgotten models.

I am new to Spyderco, hence the chokwe reference :)

Odd I am thinking about points Sal made in this thread all day!! I cannot stop grinning about the possibility of LC200N on Mule project, and man there's even a folder in the making! as far as clip discussion goes, I like both hour glass and wire clip, the ones I dislike are most of collabs clip (Sou...

Re: Endura Blue: VG10: Should I get it everyone?

Get it, it is a nice knife. Delica-Endura is a folder everyone should have. I like Delica more but somehow I ended up having 3 Enduras (vg10, zdp189, Superblue) + a Pac Salt :)

Re: Am I crazy to want an Emerson CQC 7

I own the CQC-7 tanto, chisel edge because the price is "right" (i got it second hand for about the same price of brand new Endura4 in my country)
the fit and finish is like everyone commented: rough. but hey they use that for marketing!
it is a great knife but yes, too pricey for me.
