Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020
Sorry. I stopped supporting the NFL when they decided not to intervene during the kneeling incidents.

Re: Roadie vs Pingo
The blade stock of the Roadie is too thick for a knife of its size. It may be good as a pry tool, but as a slicer, it falls short.

Re: Victorinox photo and discussion thread!
Great thread. I've been EDCing an Executive for longer than I can remember. I also EDC a Pioneer. A Classic rides on my keychain.
I addition, I own several of the Solo, Bantam, Recruit, Spartan and Cadet.

Re: Anyone enjoying the Roadie?
As I've said in every other Roadie thread that's been created, the blade stock is too thick for a knife of this size.

Re: Sun and Moon Chaparall :O !!!
Not diggin' this new Chap, at all. Don't get me wrong, but I think that's a good thing...;) Why?: I like to see some out of the ordinary designs on the Chap, which also means, that some will really like a particular design, others not at all - otherwise it would be not somewhat extravagant. So mayb...

Re: Who has a Roadie?
Too thick of a blade stock for its overall size. I understand it was done to accommodate the dimples, but that doesn't make up for this shortcoming.

Re: Chaparral FRN Lightweight - Unobtainium?
Wondering why there is no stock anywhere of this knife? I've checked all the big online knife retailers - no dice. Wondering if I should take a chance on a Raffir Noble model. As much as I love the Chaparral, I'd never make the same mistake getting this version without first seeing it. Too many var...

I've owned and own several Chaparral knives. Never an issue for me, but I'm glad there's a solution for you folks.

Re: Your responses to someone who claims "The hump on Spyderco knives gets in the way of proper use"?
The hump is there by default, as a result of Spyderco's signature thumb hole. Remove or reduce the size of the hole, the hump is reduced.
It's one of the reasons the Chaparral is my favorite and the Native-5 in second. Both of them have a minimal hump.

Re: Two questions for Sal regarding the Chaparral design
One of the main things I love about the Chaparral is its looks, both opened and closed. Other than adding versions with different scales, as intended, please leave the Chaparral as is.
I continue to be amazed at the number of comments from people trying to change the Chaparral.

Re: Chaparral Compression Lock?
Not sure why so many want to change the Chaparral into something it was never designed to be. Keep the lock, keep the steel and change up the scales every 12-18 months. Go pick apart a different knife, please.

I still say keep everything the same, but throw on micarta scales. Just not sure what color micarta I'd like. Maybe an OD green.

Try to find a new TV that doesn't have that warning. It's California, so that should tell you all you need to know.
