It always seems like lightsabers never need batteries changed, or recharged or anything like that. I hope battery technology gets with the 21st century soon.

So, I just bought a Hinderer Investigator pen...

Hi everyone. I just bought a Hinderer Investigator pen, and I'm not a big fan of how the cartridge that came with it (fisher space pen) writes. It's cool that it can write underwater or in space, but it really isn't the smoothest writing experience, and I have no need to write in space. Does anyone ...

I don't get it. They're a novelty, but they're not more dangerous than any other knife. Just about any knife with a hole or a thumb stud can be opened as fast as an auto or assisted opener, so banning assisted opening knives is very much retarded.

When I briefly had a job assembling plywood frames for a custom furniture company, I had to cut some cardboard one day, and I couldn't find the boxcutter I was issued, so I whipped out my Military, and I might as well have dropped trow or bitten the head off of a cuddly forest creature. It wasn't fr...

Just about every knife I've owned in S30V has chipped with normal use. I have a ZT 0620 pre-ordered, so eventually, I'll have some Elmax to use.

I don't recall seeing this done specifically, but it should create a unique look. DLC is intended as a scratch resistant coating so I would think that a careful choice of stonewashing media will help save you actual time of work! If I'm not mistaken, the "blackwash", "texas tea"...

I printed a yo-yo in high school. I'm sure the technology has gotten better since then, but the ABS filament printing style makes really fragile parts. The other styles with metal sintering sound interesting though.

Another reason not to rely on cheap knives; A Sgt. at my department carries those cheap 20 dollar blades crafted by barefoot children in China regularly. Well he was cutting something, and the tip of the knife broke off and flew into his free arm, slicing open his wrist wide enough to where he need...

Well, as much as I love the Terminator movies, you can't apply logic to them. Assuming the whole "passage through time requires a person to be naked" thing is true, why don't the Terminators smuggle guns under their skin? I mean, the way they go about their pursuits isn't inconspicuous any...
