Re: Stretch 2 for hunting?

My opinion is you should carry a folder for hunting. SAFETY FIRST. A folder much safer to carry than fixed blade.
I carried a stretch 2 zdp now I carry a Gayle Bradley. Stretch 2 is a good choice.

Re: Spyderco fixed blade for hunting

I'm not in favor of carrying a fixed blade for hunting. They are fine in camp or deep inside a backpack. The country I hunt there is a very good chance I'll fall or slip. I carry a Gayle Bradley 1 and keep my Sprig in the truck.

Re: Any Phil Wilson calab's in the future?

On BF several month's ago Sal said they were looking at a "beau river". I keep hoping for a Shelter Cove or Punta Chivato fillet, but I'm not holding my breath. I know years ago a Phil Wilson fillet was in the works but never made it to production. Perhaps Spyderco feels the fillet market...

Loving my Sprig. Possibly a filet or the smoke creek? South fork will be in my future.

The Sprig is number one on my list, unless a Mule is released. WAITING patiently, hopefully the Sprig will be out in the spring.

How is the corrosion resistance of k390?

Haven't used my k390 mule yet because I use mules in the kitchen mainly . The s110v mule doesn't do the work of the Gayle Bradley m4.

Re: Report on m4 corrosion resistance

My Gayle Bradley is my go to knife for gutting, skinning out deer and cutting into quarters so it can be hung in side by side refrigerator. The m4 in the Gayle Bradley has had no issues with corrosion BUT I have an Manix 2 in m4 which shows signs of corrosion very easily. The Gayle Bradley makes me ...

Re: Let's talk about the upcoming phil wilson b&t (sprig)

Does anyone have any information yet on the size and blade length of the upcoming Sprig? I know Phils b&t comes in various sizes...I am kind of hoping the Sprig comes in on the smaller side. (Say 3 1/2"). Are we sure about the s90v? I'm also hoping on the smaller size. 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 would...
