A 4" bladed full tanged Temperance lookalike with frn scales in 8cr13mov with a comet shaped hole with an injection molded sheath. No muss no fuss nothing fancy just a nice working fixed blade in the 30-40.00 range would be perfect.

Dang I was hoping for a quality folding box cutter. I have one that I was using to cut cardboard and the blade got stuck and came out of the knife. There's too many with thin liner locks and weak blade holders. Oh well we can dream.

I remember there was talk about a Byrd version of the folding utility knife that used utility knife blades. Something that actually worked well and had some quality not just the normal home depot/lowes junk that falls apart.

I was wondering if theres going to be a Crossbill 2 since all the other Byrd 2 versions seem to be out already. I've been wanting to pick up a G10 Crossbill but I didnt want to grab one and then the newer version come out and wish I had waited.

I heard awhile back that there were going to some changes to current Byrd models and I was wondering what they were. Also wondering if theres gonna be any new Byrds any time soon.

Any new Byrds????? I love those budget blades.

I know that the Wings slipjoint is coming out but I was wondering if there was any more new models in the works or if this is going to be it for the Byrd line for awhile. I understand that there are a ton of real spyderco models that are in R&D waiting for release but stuff like the rock lobster...

With yours being the only production company that Bill Moran ever did a collaberation with I was wondering if it would be possible for you to work with the Moran estate on a production ST-23. From what I've heard originals commanded a huge amount of money even before Bill died and now they are price...

Thanks Sal sounds like I may have found my perfect work knife. As for the G-10 Crossbills put me down for 2 of each edge type. Cant wait to see what they all look like. Now about that fixed blade Byrd we've all been wanting........

I really dont see where finding out if the blades are 3.5" or 4" long was a state secret. I'm looking for a knife of this type and was going to buy a gerber double take but it was too small in my hands I'm hoping this will be bigger. I know it's gonna be better I just need it to be larger....

I heard that the G-10 Wings was a largeish byrd dyad whats the blade length. Also what other new byrds are coming out and what variations on existing models like is there an frn or g-10 crossbill yet. I'm dying to know.....

I always wondered the online pdf doesnt go up when the catalog is made. If you have images of the pages which the printer obviously has then making a pdf is really easy I've done it at home with books I've owned and scanned to put on my palm pilot. I noticed the G10 Flight pics only have the holes drilled for tip up carry. I had a very bad experience with tip up carry and will not carry another knife like that. So would I be able to send it to Spyderco with say 5-10bux and a nice note asking to please drill and tap for right hand tip down carr...
