I almost didn't buy my Manix2 because of the combo, I'm glad I got it. The knife gets pocket time because I like it, I don't consider the edge. I've sharpened the CE Manix and my two hawkbill SEs to acceptable sharpness on my Sharpmaker, I'm no pro but I'm always happy to carry them. They always cut...

The Atlantic is a good choice, along with the Aqua (still on W&W as of today, SE in black or yellow). Enuff in H1 should be a great option. Or a sheath to carry a folder open. I managed to get a Caspian right after they were disco'd and on land with gloves it's great, I haven't dived with it yet...

how would carving sticks ever damage your knife?? The ultimate call out? Yes I suppose I've been over protective of my knives. If I'm fine with scratches yet can't trust them to carve wood I'm looking at this all wrong. That said if I had the red light special knives I'm probably be beating the sno...

I will consider myself new although I've got about 2 years here, just not enough time around blades to be old.... I love my Dodo, it just feels great and might be my favourite in that regard. Although I've got to say I'm jealous of your collection, we don't actually overlap on any of those. Welcome ...

Very true I guess *which* knife we're talking about comes into play. So far I have one safe queen, my R Nishjin its been out a few times when I want to be fancy but its seen very little use. My Dodo I hate letting others use but most of the rest are ok to be used and even scratched. I'm more concern...

It just didn't seem appropriate. It would only be light use, stick sharpening for hot dogs and things like that, not chopping or... battonning  If I knew that if they were broken they would be replaced I might go for it. But when I spend money on things like this it's from 'my' money, so there'...

I was going to say I'm not sure how that would work out since I believe the H1s are never offered in ffg because it would harden it or be difficult I can't remember the exact reasoning but I did see it posted here before. After seeing Cliff's post I suppose it is possible, looks good by the way Clif...

Woodwork (camping) with your Spydie?

I'm wondering if any of you do wood work with your Spydies? I'm just talking about around a camp site sharpening sticks and things like that nothing too heavy duty. And if you feel that is "appropriate" use of the knives, especially folders. The story; The wife and I were getting ready to ...

Do what everyone else said, especially Commendator. My Endura was very tight when I first got it. While watching tv I would open and close the knife repeatedly eventually it got to where it is now and feels great. No oil or adjustments needed. Failing that get in touch with the seller or warranty re...

I'm thinking that the officer was just too eager to kill instead of trying to find an alternative solution. I haven't watched the video only read comments in this thread, but Chuck's comment seems to reflect what I think happened here and in many other situations. Police shooting/tasing/spraying su...

Unscorable might be the right word, its not unobtainable but with all the people that can't find any Paras you did very well. I like my satin/camo, I wouldn't say no to black/camo or especially black/black especially with the black screws. I think you started this thread too soon, we need pictures.....

See what pops up when I don't visit the site daily...
I'd take the green from the first, grey from the second, both the tops in their pictures odd.
I would've suggested the grey one.

They should consider doing this as a sprint I'm sure they'd sell.

A reason to buy a knife NOW! They are limited editions, for some reason. A discontinued design remade, unique steel from a regular production, colour of the scales, etc etc. If you see a sprint you like try not to wait. Also, ensure the knife is actually a sprint (check Spyderco's site) not just som...

Tried it with my endura wave before, started thinking what am I doing? I got it off but never did it again. I never considered the handle I'll chew up up some frn for tasty beverages ;)
Use a lighter, its handy to have around and mangling a bic will never be as bad.

So your saying the Meadowlark2 doesn't work for a g-10 swap? The only details I know about the swap is what I posted I thought you could just swap the hardware from the frn onto the g-10 reassemble and be done. That's really a shame, I've been waiting to buy a g-10 Meadowlark just for this. I like t...

Can't break a tip if you didn't use the knife. Just sayin... What about safe queens that you fondle a bit? I know, hes sleep walking and then handling the knives. PM2 tips aren't a new thing. I was almost scared to use mine in case I dropped it. Still haven't broken the tip. If you pry you can't expect the tip to last, drop, same deal. Normal or really heavy duty you've got a case, even then look at the tip. Maybe its a steel choice or something? Don't change...
