There is a new H1 auto in the works with a rescue type blade. It will come out of Golden, Co I recall because auto laws wouldn't allow it in Japan. A Para2 is unlikely unless they figured a way to provide rust-proof the other components (including the comp lock), hollow-ground, and made it auto (to...

I just found out about this steel, very interesting. I guess it could be used for some USA made spydies?? Maybe a sprint run Para 2 with it?

Until about 2 years ago I used to hate large folders, mainly because a small knife gives you more freedom in movement in self defense situations and usually for utility it is all you need. Now, in my country the blade limit used to be the length of the four fingers, that is how cops used to measure ...

China fit and finish is very nice, actually yesterday I carried the Para2 and a Kershaw Tremor and I gave them to some friends to check them out, they couldn't find any differences in fit and finish, both perfectly build knives.

Paul - I like spyderco more than any other knife company, I enjoy my all my 3 spyderco knives (4 with Zulu on the way) I am just saying, that they should state on the website and the edgeucation that the scales are made of laminated g10 and carbon fiber. I know many people who have a problem with th...

It's hard to accept some things, I know, but that is wrong, laminated g10 with a carbon fiber sticker is not carbon fiber. G10 IS NOT CARBON FIBER. Get the idea "Much Ado About Nothing". If you make scales or knives and you pay for a carbon fiber sheet but you get laminated g10 with carbon...

Well telling people it is carbon fiber but really it is a mix of g10 and carbon fiber is a lie. Most people are disappointed by this, it's not cool, should be changed.

One of the few things that bugs me about Spyderco, the carbon lie thing, they should state in on the website or the edgeucation that its laminated g10-carbon fiber. Hopefully that will change in the future, oh wait, hopefully they will start using 100% carbon fiber on all knives in the future lol

Wow, kinda disappointed with the G10 layer, but I can see a detend ball there, don't you think it would help a little to keep it closed?

Holly crap, thats some complicated stuff. So I guess you can't take the spring off? And btw I don't have much experience with carbon fiber, so I still can't tell if its g10 or carbon fiber, anyone?

I picked up a Zulu, interesting design and also an opportunity for me to check the Taiwan quality, now I have one spydie from each maker.

BTW if anyone is planning to get the Zulu, Jeff the owner of CS told me they are almost sold out, so hurry up lol

That's the only one I planned to get from the disco list, but the Zulu's price here was too good to pass up.
It was there, sold out fast!
