I really like ''unusual'' designs and this one looks great. I don't think this one will be around for a long time, so who knows, perhaps when it gets discontinued and the price goes down a little more, I might pick one up.

To be honest I'm sick to death of seeing tiny "knives" barely big enough to get a couple of your fingers around the handle and half the blade blunt and wasted as a "choil" (WTF is that anyway? NNTR). The only knife I use smaller than an endura is a paring knife and that stays in...

You won't see them that low, I got it from a friend, to whom I suggested picking some of these up and he is very satisfied, so he gave me a great price on it!

I got mine for 100$, but that was from a friend who sells these.

I am really hopping to see more H1 knives and it seems I am not the only one. As for locking mechanism, I think the compression lock would be perfect, I don't know about liner locks or frame locks, they might wear to fast with H1, since the steel is a scratch magnet from what I hear. This alloy DC is really nothing new in the knife world. And there are other "non-rust" blade steels out there. But as the old saying goes "The Proof Is In The Pudding" so to speak. H-1 has shown that it has market appeal and it performs well too. I remember when Boker first came...

I would not suggest the S shaped blade, those are for people who have a certain amount of special training in my opinion. I would say, the Lava if you can find one and the balance is a nice knife as well, I am looking to pick one up, but I just heard that spyderco is coming up with a bigger version,...

My point was to find a rust proof steel that spyderco could use in Golden or Taiwan, because from what I heard Japan likes to keep their steels inside the borders so we only have a limited number of knives in H1, if they could somehow extend it to other models it would be awesome.
