well from what i have read the para2 is a bit more popular than the mili. so that would explain why the mili is lower

lol i almost took a huge shortcut and bought an s90v CF para 2 for 295 on ebay about an hour ago lol.....

It depends on the model. If it's CF and S90V, it'll be gone way before it's released, like the Para2 sprint. And even many who pre-ordered early didn't get one. Other sprints might remain easily available for many months or more. If there's something you want, watch the forums, and get your pre-ord...

how often are they done, and other than hounding the forums are there any other ways to keep up on when they are announced? Just a suggestion: Since you asked for suggestions on your "first" purchase I'm thinking you will be making more than one or two purchases. Therefore I agree with whoever said you will probably own all the knives you mentioned sooner or later. I doubt you will be disappointed by any of yo...

going with the majority and ordering the endura4 black plain edge tomorrow.... i have zero use for a serrated edge as of now. sounds like a good way to ease in and see what everything is all about. thanks everyone for the help.
