Definitely worth considering. Have to wonder if, with its 2.5mm blade it might even out slice the Caly 3. Another possible route to consider would be checking to see if there's anyone in the Netherlands, or at least in Europe, who does work similar to Tom Krein's and have his current Delica regroun...

Tell your mom you don't wanna waste your money on a cheap Walmart knife that won't last. Tell her you're serious about owning a quality tool that you'll have for many years to come and that although $60 bucks may sound like a lot now, a Delica will last you as long as 3 Walmart knives last if not lo...

Improved ghetto wave
I decided to play around with some zip ties and get the ghetto wave thing going. I didn't buy my Delica with the wave option because 1) they didn't have it at the shop but i did play with the trainer version, and 2) because i couldn't seem to get it to work consistently so i didn't figure i was miss...

Testers is a brand of model car paint. If you don't have the brand over there i'm sure there are some kind of modeling paints you could use. In general Testers is a good hard enamel paint that's good for a lot of hobbies.

The sharpie doesn't rub or wear out? Or is it because they're kind of show pieces and don't get enough handling to rub off? I know they're supposed to be permanent ink but i've found that on metals that's not always the case. You may wanna try something like Testers flat black model paint for a more...

The one non Spyderco that i really really loved was a Buck Rush. It was a little on the heavy side and was assisted open but of all the assisted open knives i've played with, this one had the most logical safety lock i've seen and worked fantastic. I lost it at a job and eventually i plan on buying ...

The primary function of the lock, at least for me, is to allow a knife to be easier to open, easier to close once it has been released , yet no more (and in most cases less) inclined to close unexpectedly than a non locking folder. Not to mention that, if I were attacked by a vicious dog, I'd darn ...

What kind of department store oil is good to use on a knife? Anyone ever used Tri Flow? It's an oil sold for bicycle chains...supposed to hold up really well against the elements and protects against rust. Something like that might be good to squirt down inside the liners and let dry out, might help...

I carried a Native for a long long time and it's still my favorite knife. I just bought a Delica, but honestly if my Native was a plain edge i'd still be carrying it over the Delica. Both knives are excellent...you really can't go wrong with either one. I like the handle on the Native more, because ...

Well there's a guy at work who happens to do some engraving of a sort...he uses one of those cheap little vibration engravers on squares of glass to etch out pictures and i showed him these pics on my phone which didn't really do them justice. I do a lot of art myself, painting, drawing, sculpting a...

I do a lot of fishing and one of the knives i use more than any others is just a simple Swiss Army folder. Granted i'm not carving fish up or chopping branches but as i said before for most cutting it does just fine. I do agree with the arthritis comment...one of the things i really don't like about...

Well i went ahead and used the diamond hone and took it to 20 and then honed it out with a fine stone. It's silly sharp now but i wonder about how fragile the edge will be. If you're the type to test it by shaving your arm then you know what i mean when i say the hair POPS off. I'll have to use it a...
