Re: Pimped-out Millie
Very cool. Looks great, but with full liners, its not really a Military.

Re: When is the Military 2 coming out?
I wish Sal would weigh in.
The last time I saw him post about Military 2 was definitely over a year ago, but Im not around often.

Re: Spyderco Nirvana
Theres no hysteria. No need to even see a production proto, because Sal has already stated its going to be an exact copy of the custom Nirvana i.e. integral Ti frame made in Taiwan. The blade will LIKELY be S30V, S35VN, or CTS XHP. If we compare it these materials to other Taiwanese collabs with sim...

Re: Spyderco Nirvana
Its being worked on. I would not expect it for at least a year based on Sal saying that its being worked on. Probably nowhere near production yet. I honestly am very excited for this knife if its going to be a 1:1 replica of the custom, paired with Taiwan's legendary fit and finish. Im guessing its ...

Re: Handled Tatanka...
I just can't see what a folder this size can do that one of my fixed blades can't do better. I'll probably pass but I will surely pay attention to reports on the Power Lock. If it impresses and looks like no other knife will have it, I may rethink my reluctance. Because carrying a 6 inch bladed fix...

Re: Handled Tatanka...
Just saw the same price at knifeworks.
For that price, I think I'd rather get a Szabo, just because the styling is cooler.
Seki made knives prices have been going up it seems, but Im sure Spyderco has their reasons for pricing. There are more competitive options out there for big folders though...

Re: When is the Military 2 coming out?
I'd be disappointed with 4 way clip holes and added liners. The light weight of the Milie makes it for me, for its size. The fact that it only has one clip configuration is fine. People who dont like it wont buy it, but changing the whole design and weight by adding liners? No thanks. Military will ...

Re: Handled Tatanka...
Looks nice.
Don't think it needed the unsharpened swedge though, but I can see why they added it.
It would just look like an oversized Endura without it.
Glad they're releasing a baseline oversized folder.
Any ideas on pricepoint?

Re: A request to Sal
There are so many more models deserving of a Sprint. Valloton is fairly new model.
I'd like to see a Barong first.

Re: Slysz Bowie!
No, nothing really has been explained. Okay so the handle required more machining on the Bowie than tha K-2? Fair enough, but thats not $100 extra in my eyes. The Bowie has a rounded spine, nice touch, again approaching the style and market of the Sebenza, but I just dont feel like the price is just...

Re: Slysz Bowie!
Its a nice knife. But its not $300 usd nice, sorry. Its obvious competitor is the Sebenza, and CRK has a legacy of over two decades of commitment to a very open and honest level of quality. I dont know anything about the manufaturing process in Taiwan and what went into making this knife. I feel lik...

That box is so cool.
I wish they'd bring it back.
At the moment I don't keep any boxes, but I would keep that one.

Re: How many of you own a Hungarian?
Blade profile looks amazing, handle not so much. It looks like it would be very uncomfortable to choke up on, it you even can due to lack of gimping and weird guard. Yeah, if youre looking for pure ergonomics, this is not the knife. Like I mentioned earlier, it has a dated handle shape. I havent fo...

I actually really disliked the Phoenix. The cutting edge was just too small
